PATIENT RIGHT:

Information should be provided to the patient in a language they understand in a simple way

Patient has the right to know about rules and regulations of the hospital

Patient should receive high-quality and effective medical care

Patient has the right to enquire about their medical condition, treatment and outcome

Patient and their family members must be informed about medical condition, its risk, benefits and other alternative treatment

Patient have right to deny treatment or withdraw from treatment at any time

They have the right to claim their medical records

The patient can maintain privacy and confidentiality in their treatment

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patient and their family members should give proper respect to medical professionals while receiving treatment

They should keep their surroundings clean in hospital.

Patient should adhere with hospital rules and regulations

They have to co-operative with the treatment given by medical professionals.

To give consent for treatment and other procedures as recommended by treating doctors

Do not take medications without knowledge of your doctor

Do not damage the hospital property

Patient are solely responsible for the safety of their valuables

OTHERS:

The medical college should have committee for addressing of patient grievances and complaints

Medical college should maintain transparency in treatment and in decision making.

The medical college should get feedback from patients and their family members for better services.
